Q: Can I see the Falls and enjoy the attractions in the winter?
A: The Niagara Falls State Park is open year round for viewing the Falls. However, some of the attractions at the Falls are seasonal. The Maid of the Mist boat ride runs from May through late October. Opening date depends on the ice conditions of the river. The Cave of the Winds full tour ends late October for the season. There is a partial Cave of the Winds tour in which you descend 175 feet in an elevator alongside of the Bridal Veil Falls and view the falls from an observation deck. Q: Can I take my dog into Niagara Falls State Park?
A: Yes, you must have dogs on leashes and clean up after them.


Q: Can I take my pet on the Maid of the Mist or other attractions?
A: Pets are not allowed on the attractions.


Q: Are there accommodations within walking distance to the Falls and Casino?
A: Yes, you can contact accommodations located on Third Street, Fourth Street, Main Street, Rainbow Boulevard, Buffalo Avenue (Block 600 and lower), or Prospect Pointe.


Q: Should I call ahead for hotel reservations?
A: Yes, you should always check hotel availability ahead of time.


Q: Where can I park a RV or motorhome?
A: Parking for RVs and motorhomes is free at the Aquarium.

Q: Does the Cave of the Winds tour go behind the Falls?
A: The tour no longer goes behind the Falls. The tour takes you to the base of Bridal Veil Falls.

Q: Is there a height restriction for the Cave of the Winds tour?
A: You must be at least 42 inches tall.


Q: Can I walk over the bridge into Canada?
A: Yes, you will need a picture ID. See border crossing.
