NTCC Names Michelle Blackley as Communications Manager
Blackley brings 10 years of experience to Niagara Tourism & Convention Corporation
Niagara Falls, NY - Niagara Tourism & Convention Corporation (NTCC) announced today that Michelle Blackley has been named Communications Manager. Blackley will develop, implement and promote strategies and activities of the Niagara USA region to the media and area stakeholders. She will also be managing the Niagara USA blog.
"With Michelle's background as a writer, editor and publicity professional, and her vast knowledge of Niagara County, she has the necessary skills, energy and eagerness to go out and work directly with our constituents and get newsworthy stories attention of the media," said Melissa Morinello, Director of Marketing & Communications, at NTCC. "NTCC is pleased to bring her on board and see her strengthen existing relationships with the media, as well as build new ones."
Blackley was most recently the Communications Director at the Center for Inquiry and previously worked as a publicist in the book publishing industry. She is also the Editor of Edible Buffalo magazine and Adjunct Instructor of Communication at Buffalo State College. Blackley received a Master of Arts in Communication from New York University, and Bachelor of Science in Communication from the State University of New York College at Fredonia.
A native of Lockport, NY, Blackley is excited to be promoting her hometown and the area she shares a great passion for.
