The museum features 20th century and
contemporary art from Andy Warhol to Pablo Picasso and others. Housed in a
gracious marble building with a diverse and ever-evolving collection, it also
has Western New York’s only permanent Folk Arts program as well as children’s
activities and a museum shop. Hours: Tuesday - Saturday, 11 am - 5 pm, Sunday,
1 - 5 pm. Free.
The Underground Railroad Regional Interpretive Center
Opening within the Castellani Art Museum in the fall of 2006, this permanent
gallery installation will introduce visitors to regional sites that tell
the story of Buffalo Niagara’s role in the Underground Railroad anti-slavery
movement.
