Lewiston, N.Y.- The Marble Orchard tell the ghastly tales of Lewiston's haunted past...and present, each Saturday at 7 p.m.

The dead do not rest easy in the quaint Village of Lewiston.
Or so says the Marble Orchard, a group of reenactors who step back in history to portray some of the village’s most famed residents during a series of historically-themed ghost walks each Saturday this month.
During the 1 1/2 hour walk, the Marble Orchard Players will take you back in time as they tell you about the grim and ghastly deeds of Lewiston's best...and worst. You'll hear classic ghost stories, myths and tales of tragedy, crime, mayhem and murder. Secret and sinister, many of these events happened a long time ago... yet ghosts still haunt Lewiston. Along the way, you’ll meet some of the spirits in person and hear their tales of the macabre, the grisly and the ghostly.
Step back in time with this historical and educational tour as the theatrical guides take you through the historic district and in to the village cemetery. They’ll provide you with an eerie, yet fun filled adventure as you learn about curses, graveyard etiquette and the deadly history of Lewiston.
The Marble Orchard do an amazing job of portraying historic characters complete with period attire and capturing the era in which these stories are being told. The graveyard, which dates back to the 1800’s is a sight to be seen and the education ghost walks make it all the more exciting.
The Marble Orchard Ghost Walks are the perfect way to get in to the Halloween spirit.
