Located at 4408 Ridge Rd. (Route 104) Lockport, N.Y., 14094 in the heart of Niagara USA’s wine region, the Wine Trail Café features a sit down menu, as well as gourmet boxed lunches to bring along for a day of tastings along the award-winning wine trail.

The quaint, sit-down restaurant which is far from your average roadside diner, sources the bulk of its fruits, vegetables and other products from farms in Niagara County, adding a fresh spin to the traditional diner experience. The restaurant features homemade soups, fish fry, breakfast and other diner favoriters, along with some sandwich specialties you might not expect.

From Tuna Salad on Wheatberry Bread with “boom boom” sauce and a seaweed salad to  Concord Chicken Salad, which is made with fresh gorgonzola cheese and a concord grape dressing made from Niagara County grapes, The Wine Trail Café is the perfect stop when touring the Niagara Wine trail or traveling between Niagara Falls and Lockport.

The restaurant also will make boxed lunches for tour or bus groups as long as the order is placed a few days in advance. The boxed lunches include a choice of sandwich or salad, a seasonal fruit, homemade kettle chips, dessert and a bottled water, all for $11.95.
