The Hard Rock Cafe Guitar Drop is not the only way to celebrate New Years in downtown Niagara Falls. The Giacomo Hotel (222 First St., Niagara Falls, NY 14303) is hosting its first annual New Year’s Eve Masquerade event which will give visitors the opportunity to ring in 2012 in style.

Set in the hotel’s lavish 14th floor overlook, offering picturesque views of the Niagara Rapids and the mighty Niagara Falls, the Giacomo’s festivities will include a Masquerade Ball with sensational live music from the Trippi/Daniels band, an open beer and wine bar, passed hour d'ourves, scheduled times with Psychic Ellen Bourne giving New Year forecasts, party favors and a classic champagne toast at midnight. The cost of the event is $85.
