Niagara USA- The Niagara Wine Trail USA gets into the spirit of giving this weekend at their annual "Share the Bounty Event"
The Niagara Wine Trail USA celebrates the giving spirit with their annual “Share the Bounty” weekend event November 18 to 20.
The event runs from noon to 6 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 6 p.m. on Sunday. Half of the the proceeds from this event will benefit the Food Bank of Western New York, while the remaining proceeds will be allocated to a not-for-profit food pantry selected by a patron to the event. After visiting the wineries, patrons are invited to put their name and contact information on the back of the ticket. One name will be drawn. That person will have the opportunity to select a not-for-profit to make a donation to.
To ensure that more funds are available for these special groups, the members of the Wine Trail have declared this a “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” event. We ask that guests bring their favorite glass or one from a past wine trail event. Patrons can also purchase a glass at their first stop.
This event is a unique opportunity to sample the award-winning wines at 14 properties along the Niagara Wine Trail, while benefiting local not-for-profit agencies.
