Niagara Falls, N.Y.- A popular concert and events venue in downtown Niagara Falls may be haunted by the ghost of an actress who refuses to take her final bow.

The TAPS team from the popular SY FY Channel program Ghost Hunters will investigate the rumored haunting of a former actress at Rapids Theatre in Niagara Falls on an episode entitled 'Stage Fright.'
The program will air at 9 p.m. on October 19th. The show will air on the SY FY Network, which on Time Warner Cable is channel 38.
The popular ghost hunting team visited the entertainment venue earlier this year in hopes of discovering a rumored ghost that has haunted the building for decades. Built in 1921, Rapids was known as The Bellevue Theatre and featured a variety of musicals, films and vaudeville acts. The Bellevue was built upon underground tunnels that were used to accommodate fugitive slaves fleeing to Canada during the Civil War era. Over the next 80 years, the theatre was owned and operated by a number of owners.
On Wednesday, the Rapids Theatre will host a free viewing party in order to celebrate the shows premier on the television network. The event, which kicks off at 7 p.m. is free and open to the public. There will be drink specials at the theatres bar and organizers said this event is the perfect way to kick off the Halloween season.
