The Wailers, a popular Jamacian Reggae band made famous by the legendary Bob Marley will headline the annual Hard Rock Café New Year’s Eve Guitar Drop on December 31 in downtown Niagara Falls.
Join tens of thousands of revelers at the "Times Square" of Western New York and count down to 2012, as a 10-foot illuminated Gibson guitar is lowered from a 120-foot structure onto Old Falls Street at midnight. This event in Niagara Falls USA is one of only four such events put on worldwide by the Hard Rock Café. With Niagara Falls as the backdrop, the Hard Rock Cafe and City of Niagara Falls host one of the regions premier New Year's eve events.
In addition to free live music, the event, which begins at 8 p.m., will feature food and beverage, heated tents, fireworks, party hats, noisemakers and events for all ages. There will be New Year’s Eve VIP packages available for those 21 and over.
