8/31-9/1 Youngstown Firemen's Field Days – Treat yourself to a slice of Americana during the Youngstown Firemen's Field Days at Veterans Park in the Village of Youngstown just off Main Street. 5-7 Niagara County Peach Festival –
This is Niagara County's oldest and largest event! An old fashioned festival complete with a parade, peach shortcake, great carnival food, entertainment and a midway of exciting rides at Academy Park in Historic Lewiston. Admission is free. www.lewistonkiwanis.org

7 National Grandparents Day –
12-4pm. In 1979, President Jimmy Carter designated the first Sunday after Labor Day as Gradparents Day. He sought to strengthen the enduring values of the family and urged all Americans to honor their grandparents. 13 Passport Application Day –
10am-8pm. Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls USA, 1900 Military Road, Niagara Falls. Don't have your passport yet? Town of Niagara Officials will be processing applications at the Fashion Outlets of Niagara. The fees are:$67.00 check to the Dept. of State. $30.00 check or cash to the Town of Niagara for processing fees. Must have a certified birth certificate with a file date, a photo ID. Good information to know is parents place and dates of birth and if they were US citizens. 14 yrs and under must have both parents with them and the passports are only valid for 5 years. 16 years and up are valid for 10 years.All applications, forms, etc will be available and passport agent to answer all questions. 716.297.2022. www.fashionoutlets.com

27-28 Harvest Festival and Craft Show –
10am-5pm both days. More than 100 of New York State's finest craft artists will be featured in the 25th Annual Outdoor Craft Show along Center Street in Historic Lewiston. 28 Spring Lake Winery Wine Train – $39 per person, Children $20. Reservations Reguired! Train boards: Lockport at 9:30am (Michigan & Park Ave). Event includes 1 hour train ride with a Continental Breakfast, 1 hour tour at the Medina Railroad Museum, wine tasting, lunch on the grill, and music by the lake at Spring Lake Winery. Train departs winery at approx. 3:30pm (Return to Lockport at approx. 4pm).
