For the Price of a Passport

Don't waste your time and money standing in line for a Passport Photo ($15). Then waiting by the mailbox for your Passport ($135) to arrive, when you can be enjoying a fun vacation tour of Niagara USA.

For the same money you can explore the wonders of Niagara USA.....

Day One

Upon arrival explore Old Falls Street which features free music at noon and a variety of food options to satisfy everyone's tastes.  There is always something happening on Old Falls Street!

Niagara USA Discovery Pass ($33.00), a perfect way to enjoy the wonders of Niagara Falls State Park. Start your adventure at the Niagara Adventure Theater which shows an IMAX-style film featuring an exhilarating perspective of plunging over the Falls as the daredevils of the past experienced. Your Pass includes a ride on the famous Maid of the Mist. Have your camera ready when you stop at the Observation Tower; the only spot where you can get a picture of all three waterfalls in one shot. 

But there is still more to see!  Hop on the Niagara Scenic Trolley to see the Aquarium of Niagara and the Niagara Gorge Discovery Center.

Before you leave, feel nature's power up close at the Cave of the Winds.

While in downtown Niagara USA, don't forget to stop by the Made in America store! This great gift shop offers only made in America products! Find a special gift for yourself or someone special! ($10.00)

Your evening is free to explore great shopping at the Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls USA, try your luck at the Seneca Niagara Casino or stroll back to Niagara Falls State Park to enjoy the Falls illuminated in a sea of color.

Day Two

Start by venturing north and stop by the Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University (FREE) and view its fine collection including Andy Warhol, Picasso, Dali and many more!

For an electrifying experience be sure to check out the Niagara Power Vista (FREE), which features over 50 interactive exhibits about hydroelectricity and a spectacular view from the observation deck 350 feet above the gorge.

 Just a little further north you will come upon the quaint Village of Lewiston, known for its unique boutiques, cafes and restaurants.  There you can enjoy a leisurely walk escorted by characters in period dress who will tell the tales of the rich history of the area and its part in the Underground Railroad, the War of 1812 or just fun facts as to how the word "cocktail" came to be. ($12.00)

Continuing your journey north you will arrive at Old Fort Niagara  ($12) where you can visit an 18th Century fort which played a critical role in the struggle for North America.  Be sure to view the original flag that flew over the fort in 1812.

At Murphy Orchards enjoy a sit down luncheon with selections ordered for your group. (Prices range from $9.95 to $12.95 per person) and then a knowledgeable guide will share the history and heritage of the farm, focused on the groups interests from the Underground Railroad, Agriculture, or the Ecology and Environment of the Niagara Region. ($1.00)

Want a taste of the Grape?  There are 16 different wineries that offer a variety of tastes and experiences.  Stop by the Winery at Marjim Manor to visit the most haunted winery in the country according to The Learning Channel's "Ghost Hunters." Hear the tales while tasting the wines.  Your afternoon will leave you with great stories and a souvenir glass.  ($5.00)

It's time to relax after your busy day.  Enjoy an evening of dinner and theater at the Barton Hill Hotel & Spa.

 "Enchante Cabaret" will delight you with an original  musical production that will delight the group like no other ($50)

Day Three

There is still more to experience in Niagara USA!

Feel like a kid again as you step into the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum ($6) . Learn the stories of why the carrousel was first built as you view the classic animals.  It's almost impossible not to smile as you climb on board and ride an original 1912 Carrousel!

 Stop by the Erie Canal Discovery Center, a multi-media interactive museum that will transport you back to the early days of the Erie Canal.  While there, be sure to see the Charles Rand Penney Art Collection ($6.00).

Just across the street is the First Presbyterian Church.  There you will marvel at the craftsmanship of the Tiffany Windows.  Louis Comfort Tiffany used unusual construction techniques and effects that produced stunning results.  The beauty will astound you (FREE).

Art lovers will also enjoy a stop at the Market Street Art Center. Twenty-five working art studios and galleries allow you to view a wide range of art forms and perhaps meet the artists themselves (FREE).

Time to relax as you cruise down the Erie Canal on the Lockport Locks and Erie Canal Cruises ($17.50).  This two hour cruise will raise and lower you through the only double set of locks on the Erie Canal.
