Boy Scouts/Girl Scouts: We provide assistance for boy scouts seeking merit badges in Environmental Science, Geology, Nature, Orienteering and Hiking.
Webelos GEOLOGY Badge: participation in this program covers all of the needed requirements for the badge.
Webelos FORESTER and NATURALIST Badges: participation in these programs covers most of the needed requirements for each badge.
Snowshoeing, Animal Study, Bird Study, Insect Study, Ecology Study, Outdoor Education, Local History Programs, Hiking and Nature Centers.

Fun down to a science! The NYPA Niagara Power Project’s Power Vista features more then 50 interactive exhibits about hydroelectricity and an observation deck perched 350 feet above the Niagara River Gorge.
A guided tour of the facility to learn about the basics of hydroelectricity, energy conservation and electrical safety.
Earn a patch at the annual Wildlife Festival held in September each year after completing a 10 step scavenger hunt.

“A Day & Night at the Fort” - providing an educational and enjoyable experience based on the daily life of soldiers in the garrison circa 250 years ago. Participants will rotate between several activities including Infantry Drill with wooden muskets, Artillery & Fortification Training, Cooking & Baking, and Fatigue Duties.
*This program has been used to fulfill merit badge requirements and can be customized to fit the groups specific needs
$40 per student (includes overnight stay). 1 pm – 11 am.
