Information for Groups > Sample Itinerary
Underground Railroad
- Start the day at the Castellani Art Museum of Niagara University to view Freedom Crossing: The Underground Railroad in Greater Niagara.
- Then it’s on to the historic village of Lewiston where your group will be met by guides in period dress. Learn the part Lewiston played in helping people along the route to freedom.
- Meet up with a step on guide and head to Murphy Orchards. See the underground room used to shelter those escaping slavery (2.5 hours)
- Lunch in the Tea Room at Murphy Orchards
- Return to Niagara Falls State Park for a visit to the Cave of the Winds and a trolley ride around the park (1 hour)
- Dinner

Tavern Night
7:00pm Fort Niagara Officers Club becomes an 18th century waterfront tavern. Wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages are served with simple tavern fare as a cast of characters out of the pages of history entertain the guests. Doors open at. Cost is $30.00 per person. Tickets by advance sale only after January 1, 2010.

Rollin’ in the Park
10a.m.–12:00p.m. & 2-4:00p.m. Enjoy an old-fashioned trolley ride around Niagara Falls State Park along with interpretation from a Park Naturalist. Stops will be made at the Horseshoe Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, American Falls, and Niagara Gorge Discovery Center area.Participants will receive a 25% discount on food and non-alcoholic beverages the day of the program at the Hard Rock Café (Niagara Falls, N. Y., USA location, ONLY).
