Fall for Niagara USA!

Day 1:

Witness the beautiful fall foliage throughout Niagara Falls State Park on Prospect Point, Three Sister's Island, Luna Island, Terrapin Point and the Upper Rapids.

Learn about the history and folklore that surrounds Niagara Falls during the 30-minute film "Niagara: Legends of Adventure."

View the Bridal Veil Falls up close on the Cave of the Winds Gorge Trip.

Stop for lunch at the Red Coach Inn to view the fall foliage along the Upper Rapids.

Take the Robert Moses Parkway North toward the New York Power Authority: Niagara Power Vista, where interactive exhibits tell the story of how the water from the Falls is used for hydro-power.

Let the Robert Moses Parkway take you to Old Fort Niagara, an 18th century fortress with living history demonstrations and a spectacular view of Lake Ontario, or stop by at night for their Haunted Fortress (two weekends in October) or arrange for a nighttime guided Lantern Tour of the Fort.

After leaving Old Fort Niagara, head south to Lewiston, a quaint village full of specialty shops and boutiques or come back during the evening for a Marble Orchard Ghost Walk.

Keep your eyes out for the Scarecrow Expo along Center Street during the month of October. All the businesses lining Center Street design and display scarecrows for visitors to enjoy! Dinner at Water Street Landing overlooking the Lower Niagara River.

Spend the rest of your day shopping at the Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls USA or try your luck at the Seneca Niagara Casino.

See the Falls bathed in a rainbow of colors as they are illuminated at dark. (Times change with the month)

Day 2:

First stop: Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum where you'll see where carousel horses were made. Feel like a kid again and ride on a vintage 1916 carousel!

Head to Lockport, the Erie Canal's backyard - to learn about the history and importance of the Canal at the Erie Canal Discovery Center. Visit Becker Farms & Vizcarra Vineyards to see what fall really means in Niagara USA! Surround yourself with pumpkins, cornstalks, hayrides and more! For the adults, wine tasting and microbrewery is on-site. (Visit beckerfarms.com for a full listing of their fall events.)

Arrange for a 100 Mile Radius Meal here at Becker Farms, where all of your food comes from their farm or within 100 miles.

Uncork world-class wineries! Visit any of the Niagara Wine Trail USA wineries (20 wineries total).

Tour the Historic McClew Farmstead at Murphy Orchards, the historic homestead of an abolitionist and actual "stop" on the Underground Railroad. It is now a working fruit farm with fresh jams, jellies and produce.

Visit The Winery at Marjim Manor, a full producing winery in a haunted Victorian mansion-ghost stories and wine for every pallet!

Drive back to your hotel along Lake Ontario and enjoy one last visit to Niagara Falls State Park.
