Snowmobiling

There are miles and miles of trails that weave through the Niagara USA countryside, maintained by the Shawnee Sno-Chiefs. For a small charge, a trail map can be obtained through the club at snochiefs.net/trail.html or from area businesses.

Snowshoeing / X Country

Several of the state parks in the area offer cross country skiing and snowshoeing options and sometimes they even offer programs to get people better acquainted with nature and the trails. Cross country skiing trails are also available in some of the county parks like Bond Lake in Ransomville. The Tonawanda State Wildlife Management Area, as well as the adjacent Iroquois National Wildlife Refuge and Oak Orchard State Wildlife Management area, as possible areas for treks into the outdoors – Niagara USA style.
