Niagara Falls fireworks displays and powerful spotlights casting the Falls in a rainbow of colors, offer a unique perspective of this world wonder. Visitors to the Niagara USA region should not miss the unmatched beauty of seeing the Falls at night.
Each Friday, Sunday and holiday from Mid-May to September, at 10 pm, a fireworks display takes place in Niagara Falls State Park. The Niagara Falls fireworks performance is best seen from inside the park at Prospect Point. Free concerts are offered each Friday prior to the fireworks display on Old Falls Street starting at 7:30 pm.
At dusk, every day of the year, 21 high-powered lights Xeon lights illuminate the thundering falls with array of colors. The falls were first illuminated in 1860, when Canada celebrated the visitation of the Prince of Wales and the tradition has continued since. The illuminated Falls is a truly romantic and breathtaking sight.
